Job summary

Base Power Company in Austin is seeking a senior level electronics design engineer to own the electrical architecture of its energy storage systems—from inverters to interconnect devices—driving design from concept through high‑volume manufacturing.

You will lead a team of engineers, set topology, validate reliability, collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams, and push for robust, manufacturable, scalable power solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical product design for energy storage and high‑power systems.
• Proven ability to take complex electrical products from architecture to production ramp.
• Hands‑on bring‑up and debugging of power electronics hardware.
• Familiarity with power conversion controls and test methods.

Responsibilities

• Set electrical architecture and technical direction for Base's product line.
• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers across design and validation.
• Drive LV embedded systems and power converter design and validation.
• Collaborate across firmware, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams.
• Own production end‑of‑line testers and debug complex issues.
