Job summary

Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division seeks a Senior Strategy Manager to shape commercial and product strategies enabling the energy transition. You’ll partner with a global team of engineers and operations to drive strategic initiatives, partnerships, and investments that complement EPD efforts.

You will analyze industry dynamics, identify priority technologies, and manage engagements with partners, including co-development and venture investments, to help Caterpillar lead in energy solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
• Global perspective and ability to apply global considerations across international business.
• Strong communications skills with ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on big-picture planning and competitive positioning.
• Extensive stakeholder management experience and ability to engage diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead industry and competitive intelligence analysis on themes or technology areas.
• Create frameworks to position product and solutions development for customer value.

• Identify and promote potential strategic alliances and partnerships.
