Job summary

CLEAResult, a leader in energy efficiency, seeks a Practice Consultant to design and commercialize energy solutions across utility and public-sector programs. You will translate market needs into tailored program designs and support proposal development.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are executable, scalable, and align with delivery capabilities, while contributing to practice-building and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency, demand-side management, electrification, or related fields.
• Demonstrated success supporting the design and delivery of energy programs or solutions.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and data interpretation skills (Excel, PowerBI or similar tools).
• Familiarity with regulated utility environments, filings, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support solution design for pursuits, including measure strategies, program structure, budgets, and pricing.
• Translate market, regulatory, and client needs into tailored program designs.
• Develop solution specifications tailored to a specific client, geography, or location, in alignment with delivery capabilities and technical requirements.
• Contribute to development of compelling, defensible proposals that support successful pursuit outcomes.
• Support continuity between proposal assumptions and program execution during handoff to the Program Delivery team.
• Partner with delivery teams to help ensure designed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with operational realities.
• Work with teams to finalize solution specifications, ensuring the value proposition is incorporated into RFP responses or Statements of Work (SOWs).
