Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring full-time Client Retention Representatives to join our Houston team, serving businesses throughout the Greater Houston area. You’ll work with business owners to review energy plans, compare supplier options, and recommend solutions that fit their needs.

You’ll build a book of business with recurring income through renewals and long-term relationships, with paid training and opportunities for advancement as we expand into new markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce energy costs.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on each customer’s needs.
• Support customers through renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Travel within an assigned territory ( typically within a 30-mile radius of the office ).
• Develop new business opportunities between appointments and build your portfolio.
