Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring full-time Client Retention Representatives in Cincinnati to work with local business owners, reviewing electricity and natural gas supply plans, presenting competitive options, and recommending solutions that fit each business need.

You’ll build a durable book of business through renewals and new opportunities, travel within a 30-mile radius, and advance within leadership roles as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on each customer’s needs.
• Support customers through future renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between customer appointments.
• Build and grow your own portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (typically within a 30-mile radius of the office).
