Informa Group Plc. is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Solar Media team based in New York City. This is a key role focused on selling bespoke sponsorship packages to enhance the Energy Storage, Solar & Renewable Energy events portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in conference and sponsorship sales, with a clear ability to develop new business and maintain existing client relationships. The position offers a salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, plus commission.

Qualifications

• A solid background in conference & sponsorship sales, minimum 3-5 years.
• Proven track record of hunting new accounts and growing existing business.
• Able to sell on concept with an excellent telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new customers with major account potential.
• Maximize revenue through sponsorship sales.
