Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Energy Marshal to ensure safety, security, and compliance on mission-critical datacenter projects.

You will serve as technical authority for on-site electrical operations, oversee energy isolation, LOTO, and coordination with CX/GC teams during commissioning and energization. The role requires 10+ years in industrial or commercial field engineering, strong knowledge of high and low voltage distribution, NFPA 70E, and the ability to lead safety reviews, risk assessments,

Qualifications

• HoS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of field engineering experience in mission critical facilities and electrical infrastructures.
• In-depth knowledge of MV (>1000V) and LV (<1000V) power distribution SOPs.
• Ability to isolate energy sources and perform absence of voltage verifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage energy isolation program across the site for MEP energy and coordinate with policy procedures.
• Lead safety reviews, LOTO audits, and energization/commissioning activities with CX team, GC, and client.
• Coordinate energization requirements and potential impacts to schedules; lead kick-off meetings for first-of-kind energizations.
• Review commissioning plans and safety plans; develop risk assessments for energized work environments.
