Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) is seeking a Client Services Representative in Malden, MA to support the Energy Programs team. This temporary, full-time role handles outreach, intake, verification and processing of Energy Program applications, plus client communications to assist households with energy programs.

The position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and up to 12 months of general office experience.
Some college coursework preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented.
Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide general assistance to Energy Programs Director in outreach, intake, verification and processing of Energy Program applications and client communications.
Educate and outreach to potential clients and Fuel Assistance sites by phone, mailings and meetings regarding Energy Programs.
Respond to client inquiries and follow up as needed.
Conduct client intake through face-to-face interviews and complete Fuel Assistance applications with supporting documents.
Follow up on applications needing additional information for completion.
Maintain organized applicant files.
Coordinate outreach and intake across all energy-related programs.
Record and resolve winter heating emergency calls.
