Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Business Process Manager to lead the Energy Divisions Process Improvement program. You will coordinate a network of Champions across Sales, Development, Operations, Safety, M&V, and other functions to standardize best practices and drive performance improvements.

You will partner with department leaders to evolve the process library, implement automation, and improve real-time visibility, communication, and collaboration across ESPC lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Energy Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in process improvement, operation excellence, or complex project delivery roles; at least 2 years in construction, EPC, ESCO, or energy services.
• 2+ years leading or coordinating cross-function teams across multi-phased projects.
• PMP, CBAP or related certifications; Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ESPC lifecycle, including sales, IGAs, design-build, M&V, and performance contracting.
• Experience with IPMVP, DOE/FEMP guidelines or similar energy efficiency standards.
• Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, Excel, Power BI/Tableau; SharePoint/AutoDesk Forma.

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and facilitates a network of Process Improvement Champions across functions.
• Drives cross-functional collaboration and optimizes end-to-end workflows.
• Organizes continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events and value stream mapping.
• Evolves the process library, tools, and document management standards.
• Identifies and leads automation and digital integration opportunities to reduce cycle time and risk.
• Defines, tracks, and reports KPIs for process effectiveness and cross-functional performance.
