Job summary

Energy + Environmental Economics (E3) is seeking Analysts to join a hybrid, office-based team in multiple locations including San Francisco, Boston, New York, or Calgary. You will conduct research, build forecasting models, and help inform customer strategies in the energy sector.

Ideal candidates have a strong academic background in energy, economics, or policy, with 0–2 years of relevant experience, and are proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, economics, computer science, public policy, or related field.
• 0–2 years of energy and climate change project experience or related academic work.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Programming experience in Python.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery of customer work through modeling, presentations, reports, and client-ready tools.
• Conduct energy market research and develop insights for customer strategies.
• Translate research results into clear visual representations.
