Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc. seeks an Analyst to contribute to energy policy, forecasting models, and market analyses from our Boston office.

You will support project work, conduct research, and help deliver client-ready insights under guidance from senior team members. The role targets candidates with 0–2 years in energy and climate topics, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with a strong academic record in engineering, economics, computer science, public policy, or related field
• 0-2 years of prior experience addressing energy and climate change issues or related project work
• Hands-on experience or knowledge related to Energy Planning and Policy, Transmission, Pricing and Risk, or Market Advisory and Valuation
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills across a project team
• High fluency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Desire to work in a dynamic office environment with other staff

Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery of customer work through modeling, developing presentations, writing, and preparing reports and papers.
• Conduct research to make reasonable assumptions and provide solutions, including country-level energy market research and regulatory topics.
• Translate research results into clear visual representations.
• Aid project heads in creating client-ready spreadsheets and tools.
• Make simple modifications to existing tools and models.
• Proactively track performance and communicate with leadership.
• Capture project learnings for knowledge management and reuse.
• Assist with internal initiatives as needed.
