Stanley Consultants is seeking a Business Development Portfolio Analyst to support energy market growth. You will partner with the Energy Market Leader and other leaders to drive client engagement, opportunity management, and strategic BD initiatives across multiple locations.

This hybrid role requires strong writing, coordination, and data-driven insights to shape market strategies, manage pipelines, and coordinate with delivery teams for timely proposals and contracts. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics, marketing, communications, data analytics or related field.
Five+ years of relevant energy industry or BD experience.
Understanding of engineering firm structure and energy markets, including regulatory environment.
Experience supporting business development activities.
Proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint and CRM/pipeline tools.

Responsibilities

Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and support Energy Market growth.
Assist CSMs with account planning, capture strategies, and client engagement.
Build and maintain opportunity pipelines using CRM and market intel tools.
Prepare go/no-go documents and RMC presentations.
Support proposal development, including scope/fee and interview prep.
Coordinate with delivery teams to meet proposal timelines and client satisfaction.
Track BD performance metrics and ROI toward Energy Market goals.
Assist with contracts, MSAs, teaming and subconsultant agreements.
Plan conferences by tracking leads and coordinating follow-ups.
Travel as required.
