Job summary

Stanley Consultants seeks a Business Development Portfolio Analyst to support the Energy Market growth across Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Minneapolis, MN and Muscatine, IA in a hybrid role.

You will partner with the Market Leader, Growth Leaders, and CSMs to drive client engagement, opportunity management, and strategic BD initiatives that contribute to market growth. Travel required; strong writing and presentation skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, business, economics, marketing, communications, data analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of energy industry or BD, market research, or proposal development experience.
• Understanding of energy markets, stakeholders, utilities, renewables, procurement, and regulatory environment.
• Experience supporting business development activities with CRM and pipeline tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and support energy market growth strategies.
• Assist CSMs with account planning, capture strategies, and client engagement.
• Build and maintain opportunity pipelines using CRM and market intelligence tools; support forecasts.
• Prepare go/no-go documentation and RMC presentations.
• Coordinate proposal logistics, scope/fee proposals, interviews, and client communications.
