Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Section Engineer to support Energy on the HWUP Project in Pelham, NY. The role focuses on delivering construction engineering, surveying, and site coordination within a dynamic EPC context.

You will work with experienced teams on ground-breaking energy transmission projects, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Experience as Section or Site Engineer on construction or civil projects.
• Experience in surveying and setting out techniques.
• Understanding of QA, safety, health, environmental and sustainability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical problems at all levels on site.
• Carry out inspections in line with the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Produce survey information and red-lined As-built drawings.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and within date per policy.
• Ensure construction operations comply with contract requirements.
• Provide clear information to site personnel to perform duties.
• Supervise outputs and confirm environmental compliance.
• Manage material storage and use according to specs and practice.
• Assist site management with KPI updates and progress reporting.
