Job summary

MYR Energy Services Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager (EPC) to oversee engineering and procurement for electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects from bid to closeout.

You will manage third-party consultants, coordinate design reviews, and support procurement and construction while ensuring final as-built documentation. The role requires 7+ years in electrical transmission/substation project delivery, with PE licensure preferred and a background in EPC project management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design, engineering, or project management experience in electrical transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Experience managing project teams or consultants is preferred.
• PE licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare proposals for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Define and establish project scope aligned with client and third party consultants.
• Manage and coordinate detailed design activities with engineering subcontractors and oversee related deliverables from bid to as-builts.
• Coordinate project procurement activities with engineering subcontractors and the Procurement Manager.
