Job summary

ICF is seeking an entry-level Operations Coordinator, Program Operations, to support the implementation of utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs focused on commercial building systems. You will help ensure efficient management of energy programs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This role offers opportunity to build technical and consulting skills, gain exposure to major initiatives, and contribute to impactful energy solutions using Excel, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an Associate’s with 2+ years of work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong Excel proficiency.
• Strong time management, communication, and organization skills.
• Knowledge of the utility energy efficiency market and programs.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation, implementation, and verification of energy efficiency projects.
• Develop and share best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care.
• Conduct analyses to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with processing incoming project applications.
• Review project forms for policy compliance.
• Assign applications for processing per policies.
• Assist with customer and contractor inquiries.
• Coordinate quality control follow-up on inspections and surveys.
