Job summary

ICF is seeking an Outreach Lead Account Specialist to support commercial and industrial utility programs across the Mid-Central Region. You will work with utility clients, trade allies, service providers, customers, and ICF teams to drive energy efficiency solutions and bill savings.

You’ll lead regional outreach initiatives, engage industry events, and train partners while traveling as needed to meet program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in energy efficiency, utility programs, customer engagement, sales, outreach, marketing, account management, or trade ally/service provider support.
• 3+ years of experience in utility energy efficiency programs, account management, or related fields.
• Customer-service oriented with ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking to groups.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 25%+ as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to customers, service providers, trade allies, contractors, distributors, manufacturers, and associations to drive program awareness and participation.
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial, industrial, agricultural, institutional, and public-sector customers in the Mid-Central Region.
• Serve as regional point of contact for outreach activities supporting utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs.
• Identify and attend industry events to represent rebate and energy efficiency programs.
• Develop and execute regional outreach strategies aligned with client goals and program objectives.
• Coach and train stakeholders on program requirements, processes, and technologies.
• Create and deliver presentations, workshops, webinars, and trainings for customers and partners.
• Coordinate with marketing on messaging and customer-facing resources.
• Track outreach activities and outcomes using CRM and program tools.
• Support reporting with dashboards and outreach summaries.
