Job summary

Cascade Energy in the greater Chicagoland area seeks a Utility Funded Program Outreach/Technical Customer Advocate (TCA) to deliver utility-funded program offerings to commercial and industrial customers. You will coordinate the client’s custom offering, represent programs to end users, and facilitate energy-saving project development and implementation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Project management experience, preferably in energy efficiency or related industry.
• Understanding of, or experience in commercial facilities, manufacturing, and/or water/wastewater industries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects through implementation and M&V, including tracking and baseline data analysis, to deliver on time and to custom quality guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment, shifting easily between big picture and details.
• Identify and develop energy efficiency projects to fill custom pipelines and meet savings goals.
• Build long-term relationships with end users, energy efficiency service providers, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the single point of contact between our client, end users, vendors, and program staff.
• Conduct site visits and scoping-level analysis of energy project opportunities.
• Travel anticipated for this role at about 20%-30% of the time, primarily day trips.
