Job summary

The Home Energy Specialist role focuses on helping homeowners improve energy efficiency through Mass Save assessments. You will model homes, diagnose energy usage, and recommend insulation and high-efficiency HVAC options.

Responsibilities include sales activities, customer education, and completing installation-related tasks and documentation in a field-based setting. MA licensure and BPI knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service and sales skills in field settings.
• Experience with energy efficiency or home improvement projects is a plus.
• BPI certification or equivalent is preferred and highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments and model homes using energy software.
• Explain energy saving options to homeowners and secure follow-up actions.
• Install basic energy-saving devices and complete paperwork accurately.
