Job summary

Franklin Energy, in partnership with AM Conservation Group, seeks an Energy Auditor I to provide expert guidance to small business tenants and utility customers. You will conduct energy assessments, install efficiency equipment, and help clients participate in rebates while delivering exceptional service.

This role requires walk-through evaluations of gas and electric systems, installation of lighting, thermostats, and other devices, plus data entry, reporting, and coordination with engineers.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience is required.
• BPI Fundamentals or above is a requirement.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, community organizing, or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency programs through on-site energy assessments.
• Install energy-saving devices such as LED lighting and aerators.
• Lead presentations to targeted groups.
• Perform site walks of buildings to identify energy savings opportunities.
• Enter data into spreadsheets and reports for tracking savings.
