Job summary

Franklin Energy, in Raleigh, NC, seeks an Energy Auditor I to perform walk-through energy assessments for small business tenants and building owners, installing energy-saving devices and guiding clients through rebate programs.

You will discuss findings with customers, manage data on savings, and participate in program activities while maintaining a professional on-site presence. A valid driver's license and an associates degree or equivalent experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Residential building construction, heating and air conditioning system install/sales/service, or energy efficiency designations/certifications including HEP, Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, and BPI Fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Promote the energy efficiency program through scheduled energy assessments.
• Provide energy efficiency advice to building owners and property managers.
• Deliver high quality services to utility customers.
• Complete walk-through energy assessments identifying gas and electric saving opportunities.
• Install energy-saving devices including lighting, programmable thermostats, and hot water saving devices.
