Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor – Virtual to inspect buildings, assess energy use, and recommend efficiency improvements for utility clients. You will conduct virtual walk-throughs, educate customers on rebates, and guide installation of energy-saving devices via remote channels.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent, 2 years in related work, and familiarity with energy modeling and cost-saving analysis. Remote work with occasional field support is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Residential building construction or HVAC experience preferred.
• Energy modeling knowledge beneficial.
• HEP/Building Analyst or related certifications helpful.

Responsibilities

• Review data before appointments to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Provide virtual energy auditing via phone, text and video chat.
• Conduct virtual walk-throughs of properties to identify saving opportunities.
• Educate end users on energy efficiency and rebates.
