Energy Solutions is seeking an Engineer I to support energy efficiency programs by analyzing savings, evaluating costs, and researching technologies. You will work with experienced engineers in a predominantly remote environment, contributing to accurate program delivery and client reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, can perform technical calculations, and communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of relevant engineering, energy efficiency, or related experience.
• Experience applying engineering principles to analyses or calculations.
• Experience performing energy, demand, or cost calculations.
• Experience analyzing technical data for accuracy and completeness.
• Experience using spreadsheets, databases, or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes equipment and customer eligibility against program requirements.
• Evaluates submittals and technical documentation to support program implementation.
• Verifies data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Calculates energy, demand, and cost savings using established methods.
• Develops savings values for project reporting and invoicing.
• Researches energy efficiency technologies and industry trends.
• Escalates technical issues to senior staff when needed.
