Energy Solutions - USA seeks an Engineer I to support energy efficiency and technical programs by analyzing energy savings, evaluating equipment and project costs, researching technologies, and ensuring accurate program delivery.

Working with experienced engineers, you will apply engineering principles to real-world projects, analyze data, prepare documentation, and help maintain savings and cost information. This role strengthens technical expertise in energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2 years of relevant engineering, energy efficiency, utility, sustainability, technical consulting, or related experience.
• Experience applying engineering principles and established methodologies to analyses or calculations.
• Experience performing energy, demand, equipment performance, or cost calculations.
• Experience analyzing technical data for accuracy and completeness.
• Experience using spreadsheets, databases, engineering tools, or reporting applications.
• Experience preparing technical calculations, documentation, reports, or presentations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes equipment eligibility and project documentation against program requirements.
• Supports program implementation by reviewing equipment submittals and technical information.
• Verifies data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Calculates energy, demand, and cost savings using established methodologies.
• Develops savings values for project implementation and invoicing.
• Assesses equipment cost data to determine incremental costs for programs.
• Researches energy efficiency technologies and industry trends to support initiatives.
• Escalates issues outside established methods to senior staff.
• Performs quality checks on inputs and outputs for accuracy.
