Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field installer to travel to pre-scheduled appointments and install energy efficient equipment for residential and small commercial customers. You will introduce incentive programs and explain program specifics to customers and trade partners.

You will collaborate with a team to meet safety standards, complete required paperwork, and stay aligned with the program's strategic direction, while delivering a high level of customer service and a professional image.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience preferably in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC, troubleshooting and/or other technologies installed in commercial/residential applications.
• 1-2 years of previous customer service/sales experience required.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• Experience in installing technologies, manual labor and using tools - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install energy efficient equipment and products according to proper procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance appropriate for our organization.
• Ensure meeting customer specifications and company quality standards.
• Complete special projects and required paperwork.
• Develop understanding of the program’s strategic direction and activities of its customers.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Assist in blower door and combustion safety tests if required.
• Daily travel to pre-scheduled appointments at apartments, condo units and other buildings.
• Collaborate with team to improve operations year over year.
• Occasional weekend travel may be required.
• Conduct inventory counts and submit reports as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse locations and fleet areas.
