Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical, results-oriented professional to join our team in the United States, including Portland. You will apply advanced analytics to generate data-driven insights, evaluate market dynamics, and provide strategic guidance to utility and government clients across DSM topics.

The role emphasizes research design, data analysis, and clear communication of findings through reports, dashboards, and visuals, while supporting project management and client relationships.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in economics, statistics, math, data science or related field with 3–5 years experience, or BA/BS with 5–7 years of experience.
• Experience with data transformation and statistical software (R, Python or Stata).
• Experience deploying interactive web apps/data visualizations with R-Shiny (or Flask/DASH/Power BI/Streamlit).
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience with inferential statistics, sampling, design, regression analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Desire to grow professionally.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Familiarity with energy sector/utility industry.
• Applied research design experience in consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting tasks for client engagements.
• Apply statistical/econometric methods to assess program impacts and identify recommendations.
• Communicate methods and results clearly in reports, presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations for diverse audiences.
• Support project management, budgeting, invoicing, planning, and resource management, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
• Nurture client relationships with proactive, clear communication on project status and findings.
• Identify and develop business opportunities to expand work with existing clients.
