Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical, collaborative professional to apply advanced analytics to demand-side management topics for utility and government clients. You will synthesize results, communicate findings, and support planning and policy evaluation across energy efficiency, decarbonization, and flexible load management.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, project management, and client relationships, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or extensive experience in quantitative research, economics, statistics, or data science.
• Experience transforming data and programming in R, Python, or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive data apps and visualizations (R-Shiny, Flask, DASH, Power BI, or Streamlit).
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Strong inferential statistics, sampling, and research design skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting for client engagements.
• Apply econometric methods, interpret results, and provide actionable policy and program insights.
• Present methods, findings, data sources, and results in reports, dashboards, and visuals for diverse audiences.
• Manage consulting projects, collaborate with team and clients, communicate clearly, and oversee budgets and timelines.
• Mentor and provide technical support to junior staff.
• Build and maintain client relationships through proactive communication on progress and findings.
• Identify and develop business opportunities, including supporting or leading proposals.
