Job summary

LaBella Associates in the New York area is seeking an entry or junior level Construction Management Engineer to oversee field construction activities in energy projects, from design through construction and commissioning, with 2–5+ years of experience and frequent site visits in the greater NYC area.

This role requires working Monday through Friday on the 3rd shift (10pm–6am), coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing schedules, budgets, safety and QA/QC, and supporting in bidding and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management or similar.
• 2–5+ years of construction experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and follow directions.
• Experience with construction management software (Primavera, Procore).
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities, schedule, budget, safety, and QA/QC.
• Provide administrative support to the Energy Engineering group.
• Organize and track RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
• Coordinate with designers, construction managers, contractors, and clients.
• Attend progress meetings and site visits; manage onsite issues and risks.
• Direct subcontractors and support design professionals.
• Assist with project bidding and contractor evaluation.
• Work Monday–Friday during the 3rd shift (10pm–6am).
