Job summary

Global X seeks a Research Analyst focused on energy and commodities ETFs to produce client-facing research and support product development. You will monitor markets, explain fundamentals, and create educational content for clients and internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with Product, Capital Markets, Investment Strategy, and Sales teams to position products and communicate market insights. Hybrid work setup available.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of energy and commodity markets, including supply and demand dynamics, futures markets, and commodity investing.
• Understanding of ETFs, index construction, and portfolio implementation.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex topics into actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar market data platforms.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain research for the Global X library with client-facing content.
• Monitor commodity markets and macro developments to produce timely updates.
• Explain market fundamentals and ETF implementation clearly.
• Create educational content on ETF structure, index methodologies, and portfolio construction.
• Support product development and strategic initiatives with research insights.
• Collaborate with Product, Capital Markets, Investment Strategy, and Sales teams.
• Present research via webinars, client meetings, and media engagements.
