Job summary

Global X ETFs in New York seeks an ETF Research Analyst to support research and content development across commodities, fixed income, and options-based strategies, reporting to the VP. You will own research projects, synthesize market data, and translate complex investment concepts into clear insights for internal teams, clients, and prospects.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in asset management, strong writing and analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg; CFA

Qualifications

• Foundation in financial markets and investment analysis; willingness to build knowledge across commodities, fixed income, and options-based strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to synthesize complex information into concise research and presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Bloomberg or other financial data platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with ability to interpret data and develop effective visualizations.
• Collaborative approach, receptive to feedback, and commitment to expanding subject-matter expertise.
• Pursuit of CFA designation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental and quantitative research across commodities, fixed income, and options-based strategies to support VP-directed priorities.
• Monitor and synthesize market news, economic data, and investment research for timely updates.
• Create and maintain research articles, market commentary, data visualizations, and educational content for the firm's library and distribution efforts.
• Analyze ETF exposures, strategy mechanics, performance drivers, and risk/return tradeoffs across portfolios.
• Maintain datasets and tools; verify calculations and source data for accuracy.
• Explain ETF structure, mechanics, liquidity, and competitive landscape in research materials.
• Support client and internal inquiries about fund methodologies, performance attribution, and market developments.
• Collaborate with Product, Distribution, and Marketing on research supporting existing ETFs and new opportunities.
• Prepare materials and contribute to client meetings and webinars under VP guidance.
• Manage regular and ad hoc research assignments with timely updates.
