Job summary

Argus Media is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our global Consulting Services practice focused on energy, biofuels, hydrogen, petrochemicals, and fertilizer sectors for the Americas. You will conduct extensive research on production, demand, and trade data to support forecasting and client projects.

You should have a quantitative Bachelor’s degree and 1–5 years in energy, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, economics, engineering, etc.).
• 1–5 years experience in energy or related industries; refining, petrochemicals, or fertilizer experience is a plus.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including data management and chart development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver research on production, demand, and trade data for commodities.
• Develop charts and diagrams for consulting projects and presentations.
• Support consultants on engagements and respond to client inquiries.
• Build, manage and update databases to support consultant work.
• Coordinate with Argus staff to stay current on products and opportunities.
