Job summary

Franklin Energy is looking for an Energy Auditor I to provide on-site energy assessments for small business tenants and building owners. You will install energy efficiency devices, explain energy savings, and encourage participation in rebate programs and the utility's energy efficiency initiatives.

The role requires engaging with property managers and customers, conducting through assessments, and documenting findings to support ongoing energy savings and program goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• BPI Fundamentals or higher required.
• 1–2 years of experience in marketing, community organizing, or a related field preferred.
• Residential building construction or HVAC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled energy assessments and recommend efficiency measures.
• Work with owners/property managers to facilitate program participation.
• Install energy-saving devices and document findings for clients.
• Explain rebates and energy savings in clear terms.
• Enter data into spreadsheets to track savings and projects.
