Job summary

Franklin Energy seeks an Energy Auditor I to provide expert advice to small business tenants and building owners, performing energy assessments and coordinating rebate programs. You will install energy-saving devices and clearly communicate findings to clients while supporting program goals.

Responsibilities include on-site assessments of lighting, HVAC, insulation, and related systems, with frequent interaction with property managers and engineers as needed. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• BPI Fundamentals or above is a requirement.
• 1-2 years in marketing or community outreach preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency programs through scheduled assessments.
• Complete walk-through assessments identifying energy-saving opportunities.
• Install energy-saving devices like LED lamps and aerators.
• Explain rebates and energy usage findings to building owners.
• Enter data into spreadsheets to calculate energy savings and manage projects.
