Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor I to directly serve small business tenants, building owners, and utility customers. You will conduct energy efficiency assessments, install efficiency devices, and guide customers through available rebates and program participation.

Responsibilities include on-site walkthroughs of properties, data entry, and teamwork to improve operations year over year. Excellent communication and hands-on installation skills are essential in this fast-paced role.

Formación

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• One of: residential construction, HVAC install/service, or related energy-efficiency designations/certifications (HEP, Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, etc.).
• 1–2 years marketing, community organizing, or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers by completing assessments.
• Provide energy efficiency advice to building owners and managers.
• Deliver high-quality services to utility customers.
• Conduct on-site energy assessments covering living spaces, attic, basement, and exterior perimeter.
• Install energy-saving devices (lighting, programmable thermostats, hot water devices).
• Explain energy assessment findings and rebates to clients.
• Assist with data entry and reporting on energy savings and projects.
