Franklin Energy is hiring an Energy Auditor I to assess and improve energy efficiency for small business tenants and building owners. You will recommend modifications, install efficiency devices, and guide clients through rebate programs, while documenting findings for program managers.

The role emphasizes on-site energy assessments, direct installation tasks, and clear communication with customers to promote program participation and energy savings.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years in marketing, community organizing, or related field (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, interviewing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency programs through scheduled assessments.
• Conduct walk-through energy assessments and identify savings opportunities.
• Install energy-saving devices and explain rebates to customers.
• Enter data into spreadsheets and databases for energy savings tracking.
• Travel up to 75% as required.
