Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an Energy Analyst in Irvine, CA. You will develop energy models, analyze building data, and support decarbonization efforts for new and existing buildings.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and owners to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and advance sustainability goals in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with clear communication.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze building energy models for new construction and existing buildings.
• Analyze utility data and building performance data to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Evaluate MEP systems and design strategies for electrification and decarbonization.
• Support energy audits, retro-commissioning, and building optimization.
• Perform analyses for net-zero energy and carbon neutrality planning.
• Assist with energy code analyses (ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, Title 24).
• Prepare calculations, reports, and client-ready deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and other stakeholders.
