Michaels Energy is seeking an outgoing Energy Advisor to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and help customers access utility energy efficiency programs in Massachusetts. You will interact with facility managers, business owners, contractors, and utility partners to recruit commercial and industrial customers into programs.

The role focuses on prospecting, educating customers on program benefits, and guiding projects from first contact to completion, with a strong emphasis on pipeline

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in account management, technical sales, B2B sales, utility programs, or customer-facing business development roles.
• Experience with Commercial & Industrial customers.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the region (approximately 50% travel).

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with businesses and facility decision-makers to drive participation in utility energy efficiency programs.
• Identify opportunities, generate project leads, and maintain a strong pipeline of customer opportunities.
• Educate customers on program benefits and guide projects from initial engagement through implementation.
• Collaborate with internal experts, utilities, contractors, and customers to move projects forward.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience while achieving program performance goals.
