Job summary

Michaels Energy is seeking an energy engineer to support utility energy efficiency programs in New England. You will perform energy assessments and RCx studies on commercial and industrial buildings, recommend improvements to BAS, conduct energy calculations, and deliver detailed reports to clients.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical or building systems background with 4–10 years of relevant experience, travel up to 25%, and strong client communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or building systems engineering is required.
• Experience in energy efficiency within utilities or performance contracting is required.
• Experience with HVAC controls, building energy investigations, and retro-commissioning is required.
• Experience with electrification technologies and building retrofit projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform energy assessments and RCx studies on commercial/industrial buildings.
