Job summary

Southern Motors CDJR Savannah is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our service team in Savannah, GA. You will be the main point of contact between customers and the service department, helping them understand vehicle needs and ensuring an exceptional experience from drop-off to pick-up.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, obtaining information, reporting symptoms, preparing cost estimates, monitoring progress, and clearly explaining all work and charges.

Qualifications

• Friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused.
• Ability to understand vehicle needs and explain repair needs to customers.
• Ability to obtain customer and vehicle information and report symptoms clearly.
• Willingness to learn new programs and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather necessary information.
• Clearly report vehicle symptoms as described by customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of labor and parts.
• Establish follow-up time and monitor progress throughout the day.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
