Job summary

Southern Motors CDJR Savannah is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our service team in Savannah, GA. You will be the main point of contact between customers and the service department, helping them understand vehicle needs and ensuring an exceptional experience from drop-off to pick-up.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, obtaining information, reporting symptoms, preparing cost estimates, monitoring progress, and clearly explaining all work and charges.

Service Advisor

Southern Motors CDJR Savannah is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our service team. In this role, you’ll serve as the main point of contact between customers and our service department — helping them understand vehicle needs, providing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from drop-off to pick-up.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly

• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers

Requirements

• Previous experience at a dealership is a plus
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
• Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
• Very energetic personality
• A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
• Personal and professional integrity
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Minimum of 1 year in service department
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent
