PENN Entertainment is seeking a motivated sous chef to join our kitchen team at a major destination. You will oversee food preparation, assist the Sous Chef, and ensure sanitary, high-quality outputs while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• College degree or Culinary Arts degree preferred or minimum of four years related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment for guests and team members.
• Provide gracious hosting to guests and co-workers.
• Promote community involvement and participate in events.
• Coordinate with Sous Chef to monitor culinary standards and operating guidelines.
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation; maintain a clean, stocked kitchen.
• Cost out recipes and manage food costs for batch or plated items.
• Act as role model and learn to perform duties of Sous Chef within 18 months.
