Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a kitchen team member to support production, ensure safety, and maintain quality across stations. You will handle knife work, measure ingredients, and assist with par levels while adhering to SOPs and sanitation standards.

The role requires basic math, English proficiency, and the ability to work weekends or overtime as needed. A strong team mindset and adherence to HACCP and safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of related kitchen experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, overnight, or overtime as needed.
• Must follow HACCP, NSF, OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently produce food, manage par levels, storage, and rotation.
• Follow SOPs to meet par levels and station specs.
• Maintain sanitation, hygiene, and safe food handling.
• Know emergency procedures and SDS for chemicals.
• Keep Chef informed on department activities and equipment condition.
• Report any unsafe kitchen conditions immediately.
• Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Follow policies and operating guidelines.
• Demonstrate ethical, cooperative behavior with guests and team.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow PPE guidelines.
