Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking After School Instructors to work with TK through 8th grade students at our site in California.

You will tutor, assist with homework, and provide enrichment while coordinating with the Site Coordinator to align with Catalyst ExL curriculum and district expectations. Ideal candidates have high energy, strong organization and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to engage families and school staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College units in education, recreation, or child development desirable.
• 6+ months’ experience working with children preferred.
• Fingerprint LIVE SCAN, CPR/First Aid, TB test and Mandated Reporter training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring and homework assistance to help students meet standards.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator to implement ExL curriculum and procedures.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment.
• Track attendance and student progress using program protocols.
• Attend staff and district meetings and support family events.
