Catalyst ExpandEd Learning seeks After School Instructors at our Antelope, CA site to support TK–8 students with tutoring, homework help, and enrichment activities. You will help implement ExL curriculum, supervise a class, and maintain a positive, engaging learning environment.

Work is part-time, Monday–Friday, 1pm–6pm, with opportunities for growth and ongoing professional development. Safety and DEI principles guide daily operations and collaboration with district staff.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and meet district requirements; college units in education/recreation helpful.
• 6+ months experience with children preferred; strong communication and supervision abilities.
• Fingerprint LIVE SCAN, CPR/First Aid certification, and other district trainings may be required.

Responsabilités

• Provide tutoring and homework assistance to help students meet national standards.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator to implement ExL curriculum and procedures.
• Provide educational enrichment and youth development activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and track student progress.
• Communicate with students, families, and district staff; attend staff meetings.
