Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking an After School Instructors to support TK–8th grade students with tutoring, homework help, and enrichment activities.

You will collaborate with the Site Coordinator to implement the ExL curriculum and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment after school hours. The role requires high energy, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage a classroom of up to 20 students.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (district requirements may vary)
• Paraprofessional certification desired where applicable
• College units in education, recreation, or child development are preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring and homework assistance to help students meet standards.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator to implement ExL curriculum and procedures.
• Provide educational enrichment including youth development activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment for up to 20 students TK–8th grade.
• Track attendance and student progress using program protocols.
• Fill out weekly lesson planning forms and report feedback to Site Coordinator.
