Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. seeks After School Instructors to support TK–8th grade students with tutoring, homework help, and educational enrichment at partner sites. You will coordinate with a Site Coordinator to implement ExL curriculum, ensure a safe, engaging learning environment, and monitor student progress daily.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ months of experience with children. Part-time, 1pm–6pm schedule, at assigned sites in California.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; district requirements may vary.
• College units in education, recreation, child development desired.
• 6+ months experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring and homework assistance to help students meet national standards.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator to implement ExL curriculum and classroom procedures.
• Provide educational enrichment including youth development strategies and positive life skills.
• Work with staff and district partners to support learning.
• Track students’ progress using program protocols.
• Maintain a safe, supervised learning environment; complete safety documentation.
