Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is hiring After School Instructors to supervise and tutor students TK–8th grade, with up to 20 students per group.

You will support daily tasks including tutoring, homework help, and educational enrichment, and work with the Site Coordinator to integrate Catalyst ExpandEd Learning curriculum with school activities. Candidates should be energetic, well organized, possess strong communication skills, and be able to maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to manage a classroom of up to 20 students TK–8th grade.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; foster open communication.
• Fingerprints LIVE SCAN, CPR/First Aid Certification, Medical Certificate/TB test, Mandated Reporter training, Food Handlers Permit where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring and homework assistance to meet standards.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator to implement ExL curriculum and procedures.
• Provide educational enrichment including youth development and life skills.
• Maintain a safe, organized learning environment and complete safety reports.
• Track attendance and student progress using program protocols.
• Attend staff and district meetings and participate in site events.
