Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is looking for a Team Captain - Endzone & Loyalty to lead a store team, drive loyalty program engagement, and deliver fast, friendly checkout experiences. You will build athlete relationships that drive retention while coaching teammates to meet service and sales goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and accountability in a retail environment with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards of operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating athlete needs and providing clear, accurate information about products and assortment.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards and support floor sets, signage, and inventory presentation.
• Develop 30-60-90 day plans with leadership to support department priorities and operate within budgets.
• Lead and coach teammates, ensure training, performance reviews, and accountability.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures; uphold policies and compliance.
