Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking an Endpoint Configuration Engineer to join Customer Support's Endpoint Configuration team. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining workstation configurations, operating systems, and related management tools for an enterprise environment.

Collaborate with the Service Desk and Desktop Support teams, mentor colleagues, and lead projects on imaging, patching, policy management, and security.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years relevant experience in information technology or information systems.
• Three (3) years relevant experience in endpoint management, configuration management, systems administration or related technical services.
• Experience with System Center Configuration Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administrator-level technical support throughout all phases of endpoint management.
• Design, implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint management solutions, operating systems, software, and related technologies.
• Utilize systems management tools to support endpoint imaging, OS deployment, patch management, software distribution, remote management, reporting, inventory, licensing, and configuration management.
• Analyze, diagnose, and isolate technical problems and implement solutions to resolve system issues.
• Develop, test, implement, and maintain Group Policy configurations to support the University’s computing environment.
• Monitor and maintain system availability, data integrity, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures for staff and end users.
