Job summary

The Phoenix Group is seeking a hands-on Desktop Support specialist to deploy new technology across the organization. You will install system images, applications, and updates on physical machines and virtual environments, and work with vendors to replace faulty components.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams and end users, maintain security and compliance of sensitive information, and escalate high-priority issues to leadership while contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is required.
• Experience supporting end users in a professional IT environment and diagnosing issues.
• Proficiency with Windows 11 and Microsoft platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN networking; ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Experience in financial services or similar industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy system images, applications, and updates across physical machines and virtual environments.
• Coordinate sourcing and replacement of faulty components through approved vendors.
• Work with internal teams and end users to manage device refresh and replacement.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure compliance standards.
• Escalate or redirect requests as needed and notify leadership of high-priority concerns.
• Contribute to additional tasks or initiatives as required.
